The Filly Royale toy line reuses many characters from the Filly Princess toy line, but with alterations to the family structures and some of the characters' visual designs.
Royale Fillies live in Royalia.
The text on several pages of a German book called 'Sammelband 2017' suggests they can be called Filly Royales as well.
Racial Traits[]
Like the Princess Fillies, the Royale Fillies are largely recognisable from their lack of distinctive features, but each character now has a unique symbol on one of their legs.
Also, likely as the figures have brushable tails, the Royale Fillies' art is more likely to have extravagant tail designs.

Royale focused Sammelband released in 2017 in Germany tells about unique abilities of each Royale family (or group) of fillys depending on gemstone they have in their crowns. It is as follows:
- Crystal (Kristall): Crystal Family: It is the rarest element in Royalia and it's very special. The crystal gives the family the strength to make up quickly after a quarrel and to reconcile other Fillys when they quarrel.
- Sapphire (Saphir): Sapphire family: Sapphire is often called the gemstone of heaven. The fillys of the Sapphire family are very patient because of its magic. Nothing can faze them and they always see the good side first!
- Tanzanite (Tansanit): Tanzanite Family: Thanks to tanzanite, these fillys are always coming up with great ideas. They are very skillful and nimble. The gemstone will help Pretty, Lori and Magica conjure up great new hairstyles for the Fillys in the hair salon!
- Emerald (Smaragd): Emerald family: This gemstone gives Jade and Ekaros the ability to create beautiful jewellery; it helps Leonarda shine as a model and for Diva, to throw magical garden parties. By the way, the family is named after the stone's English name - Emerald.
- Rose Quartz (Rosenquarz): Rose family: The rose quartz represents love and affection. It makes the Rose family very good friends who can always be counted on and ensures that Valentin, Heart and Romantica always stick together. Together they are Filly strong!
- Topaz (Topas): Topaz family: Topaz is actually a colorless gemstone. But, as you can see, it can also have a great yellow shimmer! The Fillys of the Topaz family are always in a good mood and laugh a lot due to the power of the stone. For example, Melody sings her favourite song as soon as she gets up!

Follow the Filly Rainbow and you will find the most amazing magical Filly World called Royalia. Here lives the Filly Royale with beautiful tails in all colors that you can imagine. They live in families which have their own color of crowns with magical crystals. That is why the family is named after the crystal.
The most special is Princess Rainbow because she has a long, rainbow tail. She lives in the most fantastic Rainbow Tower. Here, Princess Rainbow invites all her Filly Royale friends to a grand ball. She sends out a magical crystal wand for hairstyling as invitation. Before the party starts, all the Filly Royale meet in the dressing tower where they style up their tails for the party. When they are ready, they walk over the rainbow bridge to the party tower. Every night, a hairstyling competition is held and Princess Rainbow gives the winner a special hairclip with one of her favorite magic crystals.
