Filly Wiki
(The first article of an actual show episode! Making ones for later episodes would be rather impractical for now, though.)

(It is official: I have struck a case of template fever. I stumbled across a very plain episode infobox installed on the wiki by default, and wanted to see if it could be used for anything at all.)

October 2014 trailer Alone At Last

Liar, Liar, Prance on Fire is stated to be Episode 1 of Filly Funtasia.

Synopsis

"It's true – gossip and heresay spread like wildfire! When trying to explain what happened to an entire plate of cupcakes..." (Synopsis cuts off partway)

Title etymology

The saying "Liar, liar, pants on fire" is pretty common in English-speaking countries, and is used when a kid at a schoolground believe that the other party is lying very obviously. "Prance" can be the act of when a horse is springing forward on its hind legs. If you've ever seen a horse stand up on two hooves and moving its front hooves proudly, then that's pretty much prancing.

Comparison to October 2013 trailer

A very large chunk of the October 2013 trailer revolved around a plate of cupcakes gone missing, although the information known about this episode as well as Alone At Last make for a few more nuances. While Rose does appear to make the monster rumors early on, she and/or her friends does attempt to counter the same rumors partway through the episode. Liar, Liar, Prance on Fire also appear to incorporate the butterfly scene from the November 2013 trailer.

Also, the header image for the Alone At Last synopsis uses the image of Will walking around with his cupcake plate, giving the impression that the trailer scene of Will's levitating cupcake plate happened a good while after the resolution of Liar, Liar, Prance on Fire, which splits up the October 2013 trailer into multiple episodes, and provides some explanations for the traditionally nicknamed "cupcake episode", which is now technically not one single episode if going purely by the first trailer.
