Filly Stars website progress

Alright, since Filly Stars is the new big crazy ongoing thing now, of course it would have its own website, and of course said website would be full of holes in need of patching.

Since there is no article on the Wiki suitable for this, but I want to share it for historical purposes, I've decided to make a forum thread thingie where I would write about whatever Filly Stars website crew changes.

Today, for example, the pets descriptions have been finally added! Old comic book guidelines have been completely deleted from the website, even from the coding - they're gone, and we're somewhat lucky to have saved them elsewhere.

The home page has been patched up, too. Like the Butterfly website, this one shows a cycle of images, and now it properly fades from picture to picture - prior to that, the website was just cutting from image to image, with a slight pause during each cut.

There are still many, many things that they haven't fixed yet, though.

An update.

The background is now shiny! A bunch of stars flicker at various rates. Each of them is a separate animated file, they are not a part of the background image.

German version of the website still does not have a proper story, but they did fix the families screen, somewhat. Sunshines are still the only family with bio, but at least other families do not have embarassing system strings anymore - they're merely blank now.

A very small update: the stars now flicker at a much more tame rate, so if there ever was a chance of a seizure, it's completely gone now. Hooray?

Today, or yesterday, they've changed the font for the story! It seems to be a lot more neat now, and it also goes crazy if you try to scroll beyond its end.

They've also finally fixed the Boat name in the Kingdom section - it's no longer called "Filly Kingdom", but, properly, "Star Boat". House With Many Doors still is called "House With Many Door", which still makes me chuckle.

I might have missed it yesterday, but oh boy, a minor yet significant update: the Moonlight structure thing on the kingdom map is now merely a silouette of itself. Instead of removing it completely or shrouding it in mystery like the tower in Filly Butterfly, they decided to make it look like it's in midway of disappearing, which makes me think that the website staff is trolling me.

I'll do a post in this thread myself, as I've spotted a website change on the Star site sometime after the official release. Yes, that's "change" in singular, but it's a noteworthy change.

The Skylight household tree has been fixed and settled. It's Pisca who is the mom, not Afrodite. The picture of it is to the right. As John Freeman would have said it, the discussion has been ended ones and for all.
